Still here...My absences on this site are quite long. The weird thing is that I don't forget about this site, I just... don't... come... on. Bad me.
Well... so this is my senior year now. And I must say that so far it is quite enjoyable. I'm in two computer classes: computer programming and graphic arts. Although I was a little wary of graphic arts at first (I had wanted to take web design, but the class was canceled because not enough people signed up), it's been quite fun.
I went back and re-read a story I wrote 2/3 years ago. Holy. Cow. I totally forgot the story's plot line (save the basic premise); I even surprised myself with my own plot twists. Wth? Is the author supposed to be surprised by her own stories?
But I was pleasantly surprised to find that the story did not suck as much as I had originally thought it would. Mind you, the story was definitely WEIRD and something you'd probably hate or love, but my writing style was ok (somewhat stilted; but that had been my intent at the time), and like I said I even surprised myself with the plot twists. But the last chapter felt a tad rushed and 'scripted' (as one of my reviewers put it; I agree), and I didn't apparently have the energy to add another plot twist so it was kinda cliche.
Now I feel like I've backtracked instead of improving my writing. Ugh. x_x;
Ok, I'm done reviewing my own story lol.
I'm still *attempting* to draw, and I've found out something very helpful. References help! Probably should've started using them before. Eep.
I'll try to not be lazy and post and scan it.
And my GS comic... uh... man. I don't know what's going to happen to it. I suppose I should finish it since it's almost done anyway... And the horrible punch lines are still in my head...
